Back in 2011, I wanted to create some structure around my creative process and started to post a photo on Facebook everyday.  I called it "Photo of the Day" and it lasted for a couple years.  This was before #photooftheday or hashtag anything for that matter.  Now that Morgan Shidler Photography is its own entity and we are moving full steam ahead into the world, I thought it time to bring Photo of the Day back!  I've missed it the last few years, and I'm excited to share it with you!

So, for as long as I can -- I will be posting one photo that I love each day.  That is the only criteria.  It may be a landscape, it may be a portrait, something I'm working on, or a silly candid photo of a loved one because it's a special day for us.  You can view the whole gallery under "Photo of the Day" in my Portfolio section.

I thought for Day 1, I'd take it back to my very first Photo of the Day way back when.  Originally posted on on February 7, 2011.
