Confession: I am the LAST person to plan ahead for things like family photos and I blame my parents.  We never sent a card this time of year so it was never on my radar.  BUT, the cool thing is -- I also didn't have any experiences of this feeling obligatory or weird or contrived as a kid and I absolutely LOVE meeting families this time of year and creating magic together!

I always feel so honored to be invited into the world of families, it's amazing what happens when the camera comes out.  Holidays are fun because the season is changing, the sweaters come out, and the excitement is building for the winter ahead.  This year I got to work with a few different families and here's a sampling of what we created together. 

Scheduling time while relatives are visiting is a great way to get multiple generations, all the cousins playing together, and your moment in time of celebration!  From backyards to beautiful landmarks, it's easy to make magic with your cutie family when everyone is altogether and there are no rules about it.
