Mills College Conference on Building Vibrant Communities!I had the pleasure of photographing a conference at Mills College on Friday, March 11th. This one-day meeting of the minds brought together politicians, community leaders, professors, non-profit leaders, and activists to share best practices on how to build "Vibrant Communities through Community Capital." With topics on gentrification, criminal justice, and connection -- each speaker and panel brought unique perspective and solutions to every workshop. Participants were able to ask questions, participant and give feedback on a day filled with optimism for how to keep communities thriving from within. Thank you to Mills for the opportunity to take photos and learn throughout the day!
